Classes are held from Monday to Friday. Each subject has a 70 minutes period per meeting.  Every first and third Monday of the month at 7 in the morning, students and teachers participate in the flag ceremony. Every day, classes start at 07:00. The first-period class which starts at 07:00-07:20 am is the Tadarus Al-Quran, the reading of Al Quran in the class. The second period classes starts at 07.20 and ends at exactly 8.30 am. The next class period starts at 8.30 am and ends at 9:05 am. Students are allowed to eat their snacks on their first break at 09:05-09:30 am. After the first break, students will return to their classroom and attend two more classes in the morning until 11:50 am. Sholat Dzuhur Dan Istirahat or the second break is from 11:50-12.30 noon but before taking their lunch, they have to pray first at the Mosque. When the clock strikes at 12:30 pm, students and teachers return to their classroom to finish the 2 remaining classes in the afternoon. All classes ends at 02:50 pm. From 2:50 to 3:50 pm is the Sholat Ashar or the prayer before the students go home as form of their Muslims' way of life.
The teacher’s teaching schedule depends on the subject he or she teaches and the sections which are assigned to him or her. There are only 2 English teachers who teach Bahasa Inggris for Grade 1 to 6 and other teachers teach other subjects to different grade levels. All teachers are allowed to go home by 3:00 pm if they wish to but they are also allowed to extend their stay in school to finish some of their work.
