It is our second city tour and I was so excited!
At 9 am, we were fetched by our travel buddies, Kuya Afiq and Amelia. They told us that there are 4 campuses of UPGRIS, our cooperating school but we visited Campus 1, the Main Campus. The school building is great. There is an elevator and the facilities are all good condition. It was a Sunday visit that is why we just roam around and see the facilities.

This week, I am a teaching assistant of my mentor. I helped her in class and we do cooperative teaching and learning. I teach and my mentor helped me translate some hard English words in Bahasa.

The lesson was about Telling times and students worked on making their own sticking clock.

We had a collaborative teaching and learning in class. My mentor and I help each other in teaching the students about the Days of the week.

We arrived early at SD Supriyad and as usual students were very welcoming. The students appreciated our way of teaching so they give us letters and gifts.It was very sweet on my part and I really appreciate it.

I was invited by the class of Mr. Hidar to helped him in his class so I eagerly helped him and shared culture of Indonesia and Philippines particularly language. Students were all sitting in front showing their interest to the topic.
As an appreciation, Mr. Hidar gave me a copy of his personal book entitled An additional collection and must read story

At 4:30 pm, Dr. Nur visited us and invited us to watch a theatre.
At 7:30 pm, Ate Fitrie fetched us to the hostel and had our Dinner at Mc Donalds in Java Mall.
At 8 pm we went to and watched Wajang or Wajang. Before we go inside the Theatre, outside of it, there was a parade or Karnaval (Carnival) where people wore different costumes and also they had a motorcycle exhibition.
It’s my first time to attend such theatre in Indonesia. I learned from the event that Wayang is a form of puppet show wherein a dramatic story is told thrown by puppets and combined with human characters. It was a great experience and an opportunity for new learning. I enjoyed and I saw that Indonesian people really enjoyed the event, the food and the people. I was also invited for an interview asking my insights about the event. I never doubted and told them it was a great experience! J
